Mrs. Morin's 3rd Grade

      My name is Kathy Morin, and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher!  This is my second year at Patsy Sommer Elementary,  and my 30th year teaching.  My husband and I moved from El Paso, Texas, two years ago, in order to be closer to four of our six children and our beloved grandchild, Bo.  We recently added a second grandchild to the family when our daughter had a baby in May.  His name is Ewan.

     While teaching in the El Paso Independent School District, I taught 10 years in the 5th grade and 12 years in the 4th grade.  During those years, I taught math and science.

     In 2017, I was honored to be chosen as one of the "Top Ten Teacher of the Year Finalists" in the El Paso Independent School District (out of 95 campuses). 

   

 

 Teaching is my passion, and I am honored to be teaching third grade this year!
